The global nursing care market is poised to reach a value of US$ 1,192.3 billion by 2022 expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 8.6 percent. Changes in health insurance reforms and social patterns, faster economic growth, increasingly busy and sedentary lifestyles and technological developments in nursing and healthcare segments are observed to be the primary factors for massive growth in these markets for the coming years.
The International Conference and Exhibition on Nursing & Healthcare – OLCNH-2020 – which will be held during December 17-18, 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal will focus on emerging trends and current challenges in nursing and health care research and outlines possible solutions for better healthcare outcomes.
OLCNH-2020 is a unique gathering of world-renowned scientists, researchers, students, nursing professionals and policymakers in nursing and healthcare to share their knowledge about the latest developments in these fields. It serves to be an educating platform for both students and educators and includes several keynote lectures, plenary talks, video and poster presentations, discussions, exhibitions, workshops and other educational and social gatherings to promote networking opportunities among the attendees. Nursing students and other hospital staff will find the conference more enlightening as it will help them in learning new methodologies that can be implemented for better patient care in both hospital and home care settings.
The meeting will help determine the significance of technology and market trends in nursing and healthcare for advancing career and business goals. We hope OLCNH-2020 will cover a range of current topics and provides several opportunities to be kept informed and stay up-to-date in these fields.
We look forward to seeing you at OLCNH-2020 in Lisbon.
Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world, and the second-oldest European capital city (after Athens), predating other modern European capitals by centuries. Julius Caesar made it a municipium called Felicitas Julia, adding to the name Olissipo. Ruled by a series of Germanic tribes from the 5th century, it was captured by the Moors in the 8th century. In 1147, the Crusaders under Afonso Henriques reconquered the city and since then it has been the political, economic and cultural center of Portugal.
The city of Lisbon is rich in architecture; Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Baroque, Modern and Postmodern constructions can be found all over Lisbon. The city is also crossed by historical boulevards and monuments along the main thoroughfares, particularly in the upper districts; notable among these are the Avenida da Liberdade (Avenue of Liberty), Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, Avenida Almirante Reis and Avenida da República (Avenue of the Republic). Lisbon is home to numerous prominent museums and art collections, from all around the world.
