About Conference

Global biotechnology market is expected to reach a market value of US$ 775 billion by 2024 expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 7.7 percent. Rising spending in biotechnology research and development, favorable government initiatives, growing incidence of chronic diseases, and the increasing need for emerging technologies are some of the factors influencing this growth.

Focusing on innovations in different fields bioscience, biotechnology and bioengineering and to promote excellence and competence in these interdisciplinary fields, OLC International is organizing 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Bioscience, Biotechnology and Bioengineering – OLCBBB-2020  built on the success and enthusiasm of the previous conference. The conference will be held from November 12-13, 2020 in Vienna, Austria.

The goal of OLCBBB-2020 is to gather scholars from all over the world to present advances in the relevant fields and to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This conference will also provide an ideal environment to develop new collaborations and meet with experts dealing with the fundamentals, applications, and products in these fields.

The event will attract celebrated professionals from the interdisciplinary fields of bioscience, biotechnology and bioengineering and will pave way for new research and technological developments. While students and research fellows attending this meticulous gathering will learn from their peers and find new pathways in their current research, policy makers, industry professionals, members of associations and academic professionals will benefit by presenting their ideas to a large audience and by fostering new and lasting connections that further their career and business goals. We hope this conference will deliberate and discuss all the facets of biotechnology and bioscience while you enjoy the wonderful atmosphere during your stay in Vienna.

Venue

Vienna, Austria

Vienna, Austria’s capital, lies in the country’s east on the Danube River. Its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by residents including Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. The city is also known for its Imperial palaces, including Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence. In the MuseumsQuartier district, historic and contemporary buildings display works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and other artists.

Austria is famous for its castles, palaces and buildings, among other architectural works.

Top Things to do in Vienna:

1. Hofburg Palace

The Hofburg Palace is another huge palatial complex that pays tribute to the power and influence of the Habsburg dynasty and served as the main winter palace for the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire for hundreds of years.Today the complex is home to offices of the president of Austria and serves as a presidential base.
The buildings have undergone many additions since their creation in the 13th century and the most impressive of which is the fabulous semi-circular Neue Burg.
Visitors can admire the beauty and style of the baroque architecture, take a tour through the imperial apartments or visit one of the detailed museums in the complex.

2. Schönbrunn Palace

The picturesque grounds of Schönbrunn Palace, the Habsburgs' former summer home, boast a gloriette, palm house, zoo, and even artificial Roman ruins.

3. Albertina

Home to the most valuable collection of graphical illustrations in the world, the Albertina is located on the grounds of the Hofburg Palace, making it the perfect follow-up tour!

4. Vienna Rathaus

The Neo-Gothic town hall is one of the city's most famous landmarks, but the administrative building also houses the historic Rathauskeller – one of the best restaurants in Vienna!

5. Vienna State Opera

The Vienna State Opera is home to one of the world's best and most prolific opera companies. You may well go on every day of your trip and never see the same show twice!

6. Madame Tussauds Vienna

Visitors to this established family favorite can mingle with some of the most famous figures on the planet. At the Madame Tussauds Vienna you may also discover few Austrians you might not recognize!

7. Neptune Fountain

The free accessible Neptune Fountain is located at the base of the hill in the axis between the palace and the Gloriette. The construction of the fountain was finished in the year 1780, shortly before Empress Maria Theresa passed away.
The massive building with a total length over 100 Meter shapes an imposing scenery in front of the hill with the Gloriette. Larger-than-life statues of the Greek mythology with Neptune, the sea good at the top, are displayed at a podium with some rocks.

8. Vienna Natural History Museum

Housed in a sophisticated palace complex that is typical of the historical architecture in Vienna, the Natural History Museum has a huge collection of minerals, precious stones, meteorites, fossils, skeletons of animals, displays of various insects and mammals and even some taxidermy of extinct species.
With over 30 million objects the museum’s collection is one of the most important in Europe and new additions are arriving all the time.
This fascinating venue also has a digital planetarium where you can see intriguing films about the earth and its development.
Adults and children alike will love the sheer amount of information and eye-boggling displays in this epic museum.
