Substance abuse contributes to significant impairments in health, social function and voluntary control over use of these substances. Several addiction therapy treatments and clinical reports focus on specialty substance use with very little involvement by general healthcare practitioners. There is an emerging need to identify and implement effective strategies for the treatment and management of addiction problems before these conditions can progress.
The International Conference and Exhibition on Addiction Therapy and Clinical Reports – OLCATCR-2020 – which will be held from December 17-18, 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal and organized by OLC International , aims to detect emerging problems in addiction therapy and provide information focused on early intervention.
The event aims to provide a global platform for researchers, scientists, educators, students, policy makers and industry professionals to present current research and future possibilities covering the entire spectrum of research and development in addiction related therapies and clinical trials.
OLCATCR-2020 is a blend of research professionals and high experts and young scholars sharing cross-cultural proficiencies and various advancements to provide in-depth explorations in these fields. It will include several keynote lectures, plenary talks, video and poster presentations, discussions, exhibits, workshops and other social events that facilitate networking opportunities among the participants including academic and business professionals and student communities to present and share their diverse research methodologies and learn about new ways to further their research. We hope this conference will deliberate on various up-and-coming research topics in these fields and helps in widening professional contacts among the participants.
We look forward to see you at OLCATCR-2020 in Lisbon.
Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world, and the second-oldest European capital city (after Athens), predating other modern European capitals by centuries. Julius Caesar made it a municipium called Felicitas Julia, adding to the name Olissipo. Ruled by a series of Germanic tribes from the 5th century, it was captured by the Moors in the 8th century. In 1147, the Crusaders under Afonso Henriques reconquered the city and since then it has been the political, economic and cultural center of Portugal.
The city of Lisbon is rich in architecture; Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Baroque, Modern and Postmodern constructions can be found all over Lisbon. The city is also crossed by historical boulevards and monuments along the main thoroughfares, particularly in the upper districts; notable among these are the Avenida da Liberdade (Avenue of Liberty), Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, Avenida Almirante Reis and Avenida da República (Avenue of the Republic). Lisbon is home to numerous prominent museums and art collections, from all around the world.
